Project Amino is committed to delivering your research products safely, efficiently, and discreetly. This Shipping Policy outlines the shipping methods, processing times, carrier information, and related procedures that apply to all orders placed on our website at https://projectamino.io. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
All products sold by Project Amino are intended strictly for legitimate laboratory and scientific research purposes. They are not intended for human consumption or therapeutic use of any kind.
Shipping Carrier
All orders are shipped exclusively via UPS (United Parcel Service). We have partnered with UPS to ensure reliable, trackable delivery for every shipment. Tracking information will be sent to the email address on file once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Destinations
At this time, Project Amino ships to physical addresses within the United States only. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or mail forwarding addresses. Orders submitted with a P.O. Box as the delivery address will be placed on hold and you will be contacted to provide a valid physical address before shipment can proceed.
For international shipping inquiries, please contact our support team directly at cs@projectamino.io International shipping availability is assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional fees, customs requirements, and regulatory restrictions applicable to the destination country.
Shipping Methods and Rates
We offer the following UPS shipping options at checkout:
- UPS Ground (Free on orders over $200): Standard ground delivery within the continental United States. Estimated transit times vary by destination and are provided at checkout. Orders under $200 will be charged the applicable UPS Ground rate at checkout.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: Guaranteed delivery within 2 business days of shipment. Rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination.
- UPS Next Day Air (Overnight): Guaranteed next business day delivery for orders that require urgent fulfillment. Rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination.
Shipping rates displayed at checkout are estimates based on current UPS rates. Actual charges will be confirmed before your order is finalized. We reserve the right to modify shipping rates and available methods at any time without prior notice.
Order Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days from the time of purchase confirmation. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federally recognized public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.
Processing time is separate from and in addition to the shipping transit time associated with your selected shipping method. For example, an order placed on a Friday with 2nd Day Air shipping will begin processing on Monday and is expected to arrive by Wednesday, subject to UPS service availability.
You will receive an order confirmation email upon purchase and a separate shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Backorders
If a product you have ordered is temporarily out of stock, we offer backordering to reserve your item and secure the current price. You will be notified by email if your order includes a backordered item, along with an estimated availability date.
Backordered items will ship as soon as stock becomes available and will follow the same processing timeline of 1 to 2 business days from the date they become available. If you prefer not to wait for a backordered item, you may contact us at cs@projectamino.io to request a cancellation or adjustment to your order. Please note that standard cancellation fees apply as outlined in our Return and Refund Policy.
Discreet Packaging
Project Amino ships all orders in plain, unmarked outer packaging. No product names, brand identifiers, or any other information indicating the nature of the contents will appear on the exterior of the package. This practice is maintained consistently for all shipments to protect customer privacy.
Packing slips and documentation included inside the package will reference Project Amino and the items ordered for your records.
Signature Requirement
A delivery signature is not required for orders valued under $1,000. For orders valued at $1,000 or more, an adult signature may be required upon delivery at our discretion to protect the integrity of high-value shipments.
If a signature is required for your order, this will be indicated in your shipping confirmation email.
If a signature-required delivery is missed, UPS will leave a delivery notice and make additional delivery attempts. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange redelivery or pickup from the local UPS facility within the timeframe specified on the delivery notice.
Delivery Address Accuracy
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate, complete, and deliverable. Project Amino will ship to the exact address entered during the checkout process. We are not responsible for orders that are delayed, undeliverable, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to us by UPS due to an address error, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the package. No refund will be issued for orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address. Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your order.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your UPS tracking number. You can use this number to track your shipment in real time at ups.com or through the UPS mobile app.
If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at cs@projectamino.io with your order number and we will provide an update.
11. Delays and Disruptions
Project Amino is not responsible for shipping delays caused by UPS service disruptions, weather events, natural disasters, customs holds, labor disputes, or other circumstances outside of our control. Estimated delivery times are provided by UPS and are not guaranteed by Project Amino.
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us at cs@projectamino.io and we will work with UPS to investigate the status of your shipment.
