Overview
Due to the specialized nature of research peptides and the strict quality control standards we maintain, Project Amino operates under a no-return policy for all standard purchases. All sales are considered final upon order confirmation. This policy exists to protect the integrity of our products and to ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations governing the handling of research chemicals.
We understand that exceptions arise, and this policy is designed to address those specific circumstances clearly and fairly. Please read this policy in full before placing an order.
All Sales Are Final
Project Amino does not accept returns or exchanges under standard circumstances. By completing a purchase on our website, you acknowledge and agree that your order is final.
We encourage all customers to review product listings, quantities, and specifications carefully before submitting an order. If you have any questions about a product prior to purchase, please contact us at cs@projectamino.io before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order after it has been placed, cancellation requests must be submitted to cs@projectamino.io before the order has been dispatched from our facility. Cancellation requests submitted after the order has shipped will not be honored.
A cancellation fee of $25.00 will be assessed on all approved pre-shipment cancellations. This fee covers payment processing costs, order preparation labor, and administrative handling. The remaining balance of your order total, after deduction of the $25.00 cancellation fee, will be refunded to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, subject to your financial institution’s processing time.
To request a cancellation, email cs@projectamino.io with your order number and the subject line “Order Cancellation Request.” Requests will be reviewed and responded to within 1 business day.
Incorrect Orders
If you receive a product that is different from what was listed on your confirmed order, Project Amino will take full responsibility for resolving the error at no cost to you. The following process applies:
Reporting an Incorrect Order
Incorrect order claims must be reported to cs@projectamino.io within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. Claims submitted after this window will not be eligible for resolution under this policy. Please include your order number, a description of the discrepancy, and any supporting documentation.
Return Process
Once your incorrect order claim has been reviewed and approved, Project Amino will issue a prepaid UPS return shipping label to the email address on file. You are responsible for securely packaging the incorrect item and dropping it off at any authorized UPS location or scheduling a UPS pickup.
The returned item must be checked in at a UPS facility and show an active tracking scan before a replacement shipment is initiated. Project Amino will not dispatch the corrected order until the return shipment has been confirmed as in transit with UPS. This procedure ensures product accountability and prevents misuse.
The returned product must be in its original, unopened condition with the manufacturer’s seal intact. Products that have been opened, tampered with, or show signs of use will not qualify for a replacement under this policy.
Replacement Shipment
Once the return has been confirmed as in transit, Project Amino will process and ship the correct replacement order within 1 to 2 business days using the same shipping method originally selected at checkout. You will receive a new tracking number via email once the replacement has been dispatched.
Damaged in Transit Claims
Project Amino takes care in packaging all orders securely for transit. In the event that your order arrives damaged due to carrier handling, you may be eligible for a resolution under the following terms:
Documentation Requirements
To submit a damaged in transit claim, you must provide a clear video recording that shows all of the following:
- The outer shipping package in its received condition, prior to opening
- The unopened product with the manufacturer’s seal visibly intact
- The damage sustained to the product or packaging
Video documentation is required in order to support any claim filed with UPS and to verify the condition of the item at the time of delivery. Still photographs alone will not be accepted as sufficient evidence for a damaged in transit claim.
Claim Submission Window
All damaged in transit claims, along with the required video documentation, must be submitted to cs@projectamino.io within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. Claims submitted outside of this window will not be eligible for review. Please include your order number and a brief description of the damage in your email.
Resolution
Damaged in transit claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Upon verification of the documentation provided, Project Amino will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement shipment or store credit. Project Amino reserves the right to file a claim with UPS on your behalf and reserves the right to require cooperation with any carrier investigation.
Address Errors
Project Amino ships to the exact delivery address entered by the customer at checkout. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to verify that the shipping address is accurate and complete before submitting an order.
No refund or replacement will be issued for orders that are undeliverable, returned, or lost due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer at checkout.
If an order is returned to Project Amino due to an address error, we may, at our sole discretion, offer the customer a 30% discount toward a new purchase of the same product. This discount is not guaranteed and is offered as a goodwill accommodation only. Eligibility for this offer is assessed on a case-by-case basis and requires that the returned product be received by Project Amino in its original, unopened condition.
To avoid address-related issues, please review your shipping address carefully on the order confirmation page before completing your purchase.
Non-Eligible Claims
The following situations are not eligible for a return, refund, replacement, or any other form of compensation:
- Change of mind or accidental purchase after the order has shipped
- Orders where the product has been opened, used, or tampered with
- Orders where the manufacturer’s seal has been broken prior to a reported claim
- Orders affected by an incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
- Claims submitted outside of the applicable reporting windows specified in this policy
- Products that have been stored improperly by the customer after delivery
Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved under the terms of this policy, it will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refund processing times are subject to your financial institution’s policies and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement after we initiate the refund on our end.
Project Amino does not issue cash refunds. All refunds are processed to the original payment method. Store credit may be offered in limited circumstances at our discretion.
